Accident Reporting & Claims - Property (U. owned)
- Follow normal internal protocols with Facilities Management, Police,
EH&S, and fire and restoration professionals to effectively manage the
mitigation, clean up and replacement or repair of equipment, furnishings, etc.
Timely damage mitigation not only helps to prevent further damage, but is our
responsibility as a commercial property policy holder.
- File a police report for all claims involving theft and/or vandalism of
University property. The University Police Department can be contacted at 412-624-2121.
- Refer to Information Technology for prevention and guidance in
responding appropriately to incidents involving:
- Damaged computer equipment/hardware
- Stolen technology
